Our Centre Manager

Rachelle

Hi, I'm Rachelle, Centre Manager at Grow Together Marrickville. I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

As both an educator and a parent, I understand how important trust, care, and communication are when choosing childcare. My focus is on creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel secure, and families feel confident and connected.

"Hello and welcome. My name is Rachelle, and I'm proud to be the Centre Manager at Grow Together Early Learning."

I have over 10 years of experience in the Early Childhood sector, mainly in centre leadership and daily operations. In 2021, becoming a parent myself deepened my passion for creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. My focus is to create a safe, supportive space where children feel confident to learn, and families feel informed and supported.

I believe strong relationships are the foundation of quality care. By staying closely connected with educators and families, we can support every child in a meaningful way. I look forward to welcoming you and being part of your child’s learning journey.

A Highly Qualified Team

Our team brings together strong qualifications, experience, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. The majority of our educators are Early Childhood Teachers or ECT-equivalent professionals, supported by Diploma and Certificate III-qualified educators who provide high-quality care and learning experiences every day.

Every team member holds a current Working With Children Check and completes essential training, including first aid, CPR, and anaphylaxis management. We also follow NSW educator-to-child ratios to ensure children receive attentive and responsive care throughout the day.

Children thrive when they feel secure and know what to expect. Our team provides a calm, consistent environment where children feel safe, build friendships, and grow at their own pace. We take time to understand each child so we can support them in a thoughtful and responsive way.

Passionate About Early Learning

Our educators are passionate about early childhood education and the impact it has on each child’s development. We offer meaningful, play-based learning guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Each day includes opportunities for creativity, communication, social development, emotional growth, and outdoor exploration. Learning is engaging, intentional, and fun.

Working in Partnership with Families

We believe children learn best when families and educators work together. Our team keeps you connected through daily conversations, regular updates, and the OWNA app, so you always know how your child’s day is going. We also welcome open communication and value your input.

Our Commitment to Child Safety

The safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. Our centre has a dedicated Child Safety Officer who helps promote a strong culture of child protection and wellbeing. All team members hold current Working With Children Checks and complete child protection training to ensure children are cared for in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Experienced and Qualified Educators

Our educators bring a strong combination of formal qualifications and practical experience. The majority of our team are Early Childhood Teachers or ECT-equivalent educators, supported by Diploma-qualified professionals and a small number of Certificate III educators. Together, they provide high-quality learning experiences that support each child’s growth, development, and well-being.
