FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

We know that choosing an early learning centre is an important decision, and it often comes with plenty of questions. To help you feel informed and confident, we’ve answered some of the most common queries from families considering Grow Together Early Learning.

General Matters

What are your opening hours, and what ages do you care for?

We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, across three age-based rooms.

Yes, we encourage all families to visit. A tour is the best way to experience our environment, meet the team, and ask any questions you may have.

Enrolments are based on set days to ensure consistency for children. We do not offer day swaps or make-up days. Families are required to notify the centre of any absences. Before your child commences care, we offer an orientation session of approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. This gives children the opportunity to meet their educators, become familiar with the environment, and allows families to share important information about their child’s routines and individual needs. Our team is happy to guide you through availability, enrolment, and booking options.

What's included in our fees

What is included in the daily fee?

Our fees are all-inclusive. This covers freshly prepared meals, beddings, nappies and wipes, and all learning programs and activities. You only need to bring a change of clothes, a water bottle, and a comfort item for rest time.

No, everything is covered under the daily fee. This includes all external programs, such as dance classes.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Do you offer the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?

Yes, we are a fully approved provider. Families may be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy, which reduces out-of-pocket costs depending on individual circumstances. We are happy to guide you through the process.

The gap fee is the remaining amount you pay after the Child Care Subsidy has been applied. This will vary depending on your subsidy percentage and the number of days your child attends.

Staff & Curriculum

What does your curriculum include?

Our program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and focuses on play-based learning. Children participate in a range of experiences, including creative play, outdoor learning, language exposure, gardening, and cooking activities.

Yes. Our preschool program supports children in developing early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and independence to prepare them for a smooth transition to primary school.

Parents & Guardians

How will I know what my child is doing during the day?

We use the OWNA parent app to provide real-time updates, including meals, sleep, activities, and photos. You can also communicate directly with educators through the app.

Safety

What safety measures are in place?

We maintain secure entry points, supervised environments, and clear sign-in and sign-out procedures. All educators are trained in first aid, CPR, and anaphylaxis management. We also follow safe sleep practices, sun safety guidelines, and NSW Health requirements.

Our centre provides meals that are prepared onsite and designed to be safe and inclusive. We accommodate allergies, cultural, and dietary requirements, and work closely with families to ensure each child’s needs are met.

We look forward to supporting your family’s early learning journey at Grow Together Early Learning.
